Ooof it is done

I managed to get on the bike and do some "openers" (yeah i'm getting tired of that word too - overuse burnout). First time I got really effective trainer based stuff in on the bike on a Friday before a verge race maybe all season.

We'll see if it makes any difference. Hell I might even have to go for a coffee in the morning. Just to add some intensity. Or i wait and get a cup at the Race. Word is they're going to have a coffee vendor in the carousel building (and beer). I added the patches to the suit (well I added one and my wife sewed the other one in). Just have to work out getting there so I can sort of get close to the routine.

The bike fits in the box i borrowed. With the Giant's slightly sloping TT it fits w/o having to take the crank off. The rear tire is swapped. Took off the nearly completely worn down Fango (in one year the tread is worn) and replaced it with the not super straight generation one FMB grippo (it isn't straight and my 11pm glue job didn't do it any favors). Shouldn't be too noticeable at race pressure. We'll see. Re-glue is a possibility if it don't ride great this weekend.

Looking forward to NBX. The sunday course is usually more to my liking, I hope we get to go UP the hill at least one of the days (preferably both days). By UP i mean race up the road instead of down it.

well - it is a daddy at home day and we've all gotta get ready to head to Ballet soon.

Tomorrow, BRING IT!
