Looks like a fun bike, though you are risking a hernia with those flat bars. Better to get ya some drops on there before October.

Cool bike!

position still needs to be dialed in...

saddle height ain't right...

flat bars are a temporary fix until the CX bar comes in (next week hopefully)...

at that point I'll put a "real" drive train on there - 9 speed chain and cassette - bar cons (until i can find a set of DA 9sp or something STI in a 9 sp nice shape flavor)...

the dumbshifters and flat bar are just so i can ride it...

me likes it...

feels fast even with the wicked heavy wire bead schwable marathon monster 28s... (cool reflective sidewall tho)

What, no frog legs? ;)

i think i have quite enough of my frog legs showing in those pictures...

thank you...

(riding back up from the other facility i noticed that the seat angle is different than the paramount - more relaxed... saddle angle ain't right - but raising the saddle helped a touch - need to measure better later)

I'm also very pleasantly surprised (and happy) to find the BB quite low (schwing) - or should I say - on the low end of the range of most cross bikes...

Me likey bike very much

9sp drivetrain is more real than 8sp? I thought 8sp with friction thumbshifters was as real as it got.

Sweet bike.

8 speed = real

9 speed is what i got on the Croll (cx) And Q-Pro (road)...

nice to be consistent between 700c bikes...

but hey - 8 9 10 - run what ya brung - it ain't about the gear now is it...

that is not nearly as ugly as I had imagined it would be...at least in mountain bike form.

Might still be a fugly cross bike. I cant get past the sloper.

You take your life in your hands riding them old bars....but I think drops might ruin it.

Bet it feels supah fast though, huh?

Man, I gotta start thinking about starting to ride my bike.

the bars are old but they are NIBs

sheltered from the sun and stress for a blissful 15-20 years or how ever old they are.

first time every used on this bike.

Slopers are pretty silly for little folks like you and skinny...

for big (circus) freaks like some of us, it works pretty darn well...
